Tricia and I met during our study abroad trip in Cambridge, England back in the summer of 2011. We’ve remained good friends and even lived in NYC during the same time. It just so happened that we both decided to move back to Northern California this past new year.
This summer I wanted to run through a field of sunflowers in the middle of “nowhere” California.
The streets of Oakland were bleeding blue and gold at the 2017 Championship Parade held on Thursday, June 15th. With over one million fans in attendance it was easy to feel that Bay Area love in the air. Dub Nation stand up!

As my friend Vanessa and I were headed to 14th Factory, a massive pop-up art space in the industrial area of Lincoln Heights, we weren’t quite sure if we were headed in the right direction being that everything around us was completely abandoned.
On the first Friday of every month Oakland’s Telegraph Ave transforms into one of the liveliest Ave’s in the East Bay. The festival draws in thousands of people from all over the Bay Area giving them the opportunity to experience live music, art, fashion, delicious food, and in all good vibes from local residents.
